Product/Implementation

From signed design to working agents.

Flank is an agentic service, not a software rollout. A forward-deployed team maps your workflows, agrees the design in writing, and takes the agents live. Your team explains how they work today; nobody learns a tool.

01 · The premise

This is not a software rollout.

Most legal technology asks your team to change before it delivers anything: licences, training, an adoption curve. Flank inverts that. Agents do the work, so implementation means the agents learning your workflows, not your lawyers learning an interface.

Turns your lawyers' implicit rules into playbooks the agents follow
The burden of change sits with us. Your lawyers explain how work gets done; this team codifies it.
02 · The design

The design is agreed first.

Agentic deployments fail on expectation gaps, so we close the gap before kickoff. The Agent Design Document specifies the use cases in scope, the playbook approach, the supervision model and what escalates to a human. You sign it, and so does the forward-deployed lead accountable for delivering it.

The rule

No signed design, no kickoff. Our forward-deployed leads will not start an engagement without an agreed design document. It protects your timeline as much as ours.

03 · The path

Live in weeks, not quarters.

Two weeks of discovery and design, two weeks of playbook engineering with your lawyers, then agents go live in week five on a contained scope: one document type, one region, fully supervised. Scale comes after the evidence.

04 · Your side

What we need from your team.

The honest list is short and sits mostly in the first four weeks: a named point of contact, your templates and a sample of recent documents, an hour or two a week from your lawyers, and IT sign-off on the channels the agents work from.

05 · Trust and cost

Supervised from day one. Paid on delivery.

Every workflow launches fully supervised, and supervision sits wherever your risk model wants it: your team, a partner firm, or Flank. Implementation is scoped in forward-deployed engineering days in the design document, and because pricing follows outcomes, paying starts when the system starts delivering.

The question worth asking any vendor

Who carries the burden of making this work: your team, or theirs? If the implementation plan is mostly a training plan, you already have your answer.

FAQ

First live workflows typically land in week five: two weeks of discovery and design, two of playbook engineering, then a contained pilot. The exact phasing for your use cases is agreed in the Agent Design Document.

A named point of contact who can answer how-do-we-handle-this questions, your templates and a sample of recent documents, an hour or two a week from your lawyers during playbook engineering, and IT sign-off on the shared mailbox or channel the agents work from.

No. The business keeps sending requests exactly as it does today, in email or Teams, and the agents pick them up there. There are no new interfaces to learn, so there is no training programme and no adoption push.

Everything is reviewed before it reaches anyone at the start. Supervision sits wherever your risk model wants it: your own lawyers, a partner firm, or Flank's supervision team. It lightens as the evidence builds, workflow by workflow.

It is scoped transparently in forward-deployed engineering days per use case and agreed in the design document, so there is no open-ended services bill. Flank is priced on outcomes rather than seats: you start paying when the system starts delivering.
